ReImagine17 (RE17) has been dedicated to reimagining the approaches to sustainable development since 2020. Rooted in the practice of intersectoral collaboration, RE17 is a for youth by youth organization for individuals looking to engage and collaborate with leaders in advocacy, sustainable development, and social justice. The RE17 team operates throughout what is colonially known as “Canada”, and as an organization we intend to foster youth engagement in various communities while contributing to local, national, and global conversations surrounding the reimagination of our collective future.

As a part of the ReImagine17 team, you will have an opportunity to be involved in an ever-evolving community of youth, providing the expertise and knowledge to RE17's offerings to ensure we continue to reimagine approaches to social, environmental, and economic challenges through anti-oppressive, intersectional and interdisciplinary collaboration.

What To Expect Joining our Team!

  • Working at a youth organization for youth: A summer job of 30 hours a week for 16 weeks at $16 per hour.

  • Engaging Youth: With ReImagine17's offerings of providing resources for knowledge sharing, our ReMobilizing Youth Program, and events such as our annual conference, ReImagining the Future! Learn more about our offerings!

  • Reimagining approaches: By being part of the conversation on sustainability, justice, and advocacy to reimagine approaches to social, environmental, and economic challenges through anti-oppressive, intersectional and interdisciplinary collaboration through our team, youths, and stakeholders!

  • You help shape RE17: We recognize the intersectionality involved with those who hold marginalized identities, therefore, we intentionally invite and seek out individuals from equity-deserving communities. Read our Equity Measures and Bilingualism Statements to learn more.
