Purva Vyas is a fourth year student at McGill University completing a B.A. Honours in International Development Studies and Political Science. Last year, Purva attended the 56th United Nations Commission on Population and Development as a youth delegate with MYAD, presenting youth-centered policy recommendations on issues surrounding social development, sustainability, and equity. This year, she is serving as MYAD’s local communications officer, managing external communications with Canadian NGOs and community members. Purva also works with the Canadian Advisory of Women Immigrants, a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering immigrant women, where she conducts research for the sexual and reproductive health campaign.
