RE17 Conference Feedback Volunteer

Priscilla Ojomu

Priscilla is a youth advocate passionate about co-creating equitable spaces and driving sustainable action. She mobilizes over forty youth volunteers at Canada Confesses to promote awareness of social issues and advance the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in Canada. Priscilla enjoys working on impact-based community projects like YCP_GreenGen and Read, Watch, Learn (RWL), using her communications, design, and project management skills for social good. Priscilla is a 2023 ICN Youth Champion and was appointed a youth delegate to the UN's Commission on the Status of Women (CSW67) Conference in March. Priscilla is currently studying Psychology & Sociology at the University of Alberta, where she received the Michael Rawson Clark Award for Outstanding Student Leadership. She finds joy in applying theoretical knowledge to practical situations through community-service learning, volunteering and grassroots organizing.
