RE17 Conference Panelist

Ahdithya Visweswaran

Ahdithya Visweswaran (he/him) is a final-year political science and history student at the University of Alberta's Campus Saint-Jean. Aside from his work as a Junior Policy Analyst, Ahdithya volunteers his time as the Equity, Diversity & Inclusion Lead at Young Diplomats of Canada where he works to bring systemically excluded and institutionally oppressed youth to the international stage. During his free time, Ahdithya is the host of Les Francos Oublié•e•s, a podcast on which he showcases the diversity of francophone minority communities across Canada, all while reflecting on the colonial nature of our official languages. This reflection has been further propelled by his experience as a CanStudyUS 2022 Fellow, through which he has deepened his understanding of Canadian and American realities. Recently, Ahdithya was selected for Alberta's 2022 Top 30 Under 30. He hopes to pursue a career in policy-making.
