Hope Salim
Hope Salim is a social justice advocate, with a strong interest in gender equality and decolonization. She received her Bachelor of Science in 2017 and her Bachelor of Arts in 2020, both from the University of Alberta, where her interests in international cooperation and sustainable development were first piqued. She joined the Alberta Council for Global Cooperation (ACGC) in 2021 and is currently the Youth and Public Engagement Lead. In this role, she works to engage Albertans, with a special focus on Albertan youth, on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and international cooperation through a variety of initiatives across the province. Outside of work, Hope can be found volunteering with children, as well as watching the latest superhero movie.
