Currently completing her BSc in Global Resource Systems at the University of British Columbia, Annabelle specializes in sustainability communications and environmental education. Her experience includes designing and launching a campus-wide capacity-building program for student groups in considering the environmental and social impact of their operations, managing sustainability projects for Western Canada’s largest student union, and co-authoring a report capturing youths’ climate demands which will be advocated for within branches of the Government of Canada and join output documents of other countries to be a part of the Global Youth Position Statement presented at COP28. Through interdisciplinary collaboration and an equity lens, she is passionate about supporting eco-conscious initiatives that embed regenerative and circular economies to promote inclusive community wealth building.
